Veterinary Assistant, Inventory Manger

Emily

“I have always known deep down I was going to work with animals, since I was little. A friend told me to take ‘Intro to Veterinary Technology’ my senior year of high school and I immediately knew I found my passion. I’ve been in the vet field since 2019, my favorite part of my job is meeting/seeing all of the new furry faces that come in, but also being by their side through their life journey; weather it is annual exams or patients that need to come in on a weekly basis for treatments. I’m always wanting to know how our patients are doing, genuinely. I love spending time with my coworkers outside of work or going hiking at Wind Wolves. My “Why” is knowing that at the end of the day I will have made at least a touch in difference in a patient or owners life. Often time’s owners just need a little bit of guidance when it comes to certain things with their pets- being the voice of reason and educating them about what their pet is going through. My “why” is for all the highs and lows of every owner and pet we see on a day to day basis, from new puppy belly rubs to comforting your beloved pet as they prepare to cross the rainbow bridge.” -Emily
